I'm Kristin, the breeder behind Ryden Retrievers. My husband and I, along with my daughter and son-in-law, raise our golden retrievers in our homes from the time they are puppies through adulthood. We discovered our love for goldens several years ago when we brought home our first boy, Thor. He is always the star of the show, giving love to everyone, always so laid back and happy. Think therapy dog vibes! Shortly after bringing him home, we discovered he had a skin issue called Ichthyosis. While it didn't seem to bother him, we realized we needed to educate ourselves on genetic diseases and have Thor neutered. This fueled a passion for wanting to welcome more goldens into our home for breeding. Not only because they are the best dogs ever, but because we want to improve the genetics of goldens for many years to come, which is why we health test our dogs. All of our dogs are AKC registered and Embark DNA cleared. We absolutely love watching our dogs grow and hope to share our beautiful AKC puppies with lots of sweet families. Our puppies are given love and affection from the first day they’re born and receive lots of attention and socialization. Our puppies are exposed to Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). Our love for animals doesn't stop there! We are frequent visitors at a few of our local shelters and rescue organizations and often bring home dogs to foster. Whether just a doggy day out, pajama pawty, or taking in pregnant mommas, whelping the pups, raising them, and seeing them all get adopted. Check out a few of our sweet foster pups and of course, our foster fails! Yep, sometimes it's just too hard to let certain dogs go, and we knew they just needed to be a part of our family.
